Open Letter to Gedhun Choekyi Nyima – Tendor, Students For a Free Tibet

    • tashi rangzen says:

Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the 11th Panchen Lama, and his family have been missing for 16 years. This year the Panchen Lama will turn 22, and Tibetans, Tibet Supporters, and Buddhists all over the world are deeply concerned about his wellbeing.

In March 2010, Tibet’s Chinese-appointed Governor, Padma Choling, told reporters that “Gedhun Choekyi Nyima and his family are now living a good life as ordinary citizens in Tibet.”(1). Without evidence this statement remains empty and we demand you prove that it is true.

Tell the world, where is Panchen Lama, give the people trouth.

Prostration Campaign for the Release of the Panchen Lama

where is the panchen lamaFriday, April 22nd, for the 3rd time, Rinpo Lama has elected to employ the traditional Tibetan form of pilgrimage: prostration, unfamiliar to most Minnesotans but well-known to all Tibetans in the hope of awakening the people of his adopted state to the cause of Tibet and the cause of rescuing the Panchen Lama. His first two were in 2008 and 2009.

I’m Mongolia. Message from Mongolia to the Chinese government: Where is He? Free the Panchen Lama……………

  8. On the birthday of the Panchen Lama this year, it’s impossible to forget the religious repression in Tibet- it’s happening right now as we speak in Ngaba.

The CCP is prepared to abduct children and kill senior citizens to maintain the occupation of Tibet. These are the acts of a desperate government- it failed to break Tibetan’s national identity in 1959, it’s failed over the last 60 years and it’s failing in Ngaba right now. Tibet will always be the thing that underlines the CCP’s failure.

The only way to correct that failure? CCP- free the Panchen Lama and get out of Tibet!

  16. Federica Mele says:

    Free him! Free our freedom!

  17. M.Y.H. says:

This excelleration of effort to mind control others with an apppointed Panchen Lama (may he, himself, pray intently for the release of the true, spiritually, chosen Lama, and gain merit for his efforts to free the TRUE PANCHEN LAMA) is a sign that more global effort is needed to explain the behaviour of China, in this matter as unacceptable, uninvited, and deconstructive of the human spirit. Although I can envision that this will backfire on China ‘ governmant eventually; IT IS OUT OF COMPASSION, that I pray for them to avoid their own suffering by removing the apppointed Lama from his appointment, allowing the TRUE LAMA exiled freedom with His Holiness The Dalai Lama. May ALL beings be at Peace. May ALL being be free of suffering.

  19. Nick Westley says:

From a personal point of view this issue has concerned me for many years as has the Tibetan occupation. The refusal of an entry visa for HH the Dalai Lama into South Africa recently was an absolute disgrace and was without a doubt orchestrated by China. China has no right to Tibet nor did it have the right to kiddnapp the Panchen Lama. China should leave Tibet immediately and the UN should deploy peace keepers until it is considered safe for HH the Dalai Lama to return. China has eveything to gain and nothing to lose in this matter. Leaving Tibet would be seen as bold move to bring peace to what is an intolerablely violent situation. The world is again gradually turning its eyes towards Tibet and it is not liking what it sees. You might be able to beat up helpless Tibetans but one day you might find yourself getting beaten up by the rest of the world who are getting tired of your nasty, brutal and thoughly discredited regime.

  20. tengel says:

i want to write some opinions for those tibetans who have some hearts for tibet and othose who are in position in exile govrt. but that to me not having enough act to othose tibetans who are in prison because they who are the real servicing for the tibet, they dont get even asingle penny for their sacrifice instead they face hell every single minute till death.so i take this chance from here to share my thought that we can make oneday in a year as a white prisoners day for remember them from govt. level to layman only that we can give somehappiness feeling to them in jail.i dont know why nobody feel that way. penchen lama imprison day can make white prisoner day.
